Sarah Stevens, she/her
Sarah has served as Community Impact Officer for The Project of the Quad Cities since April 2021. A lifelong Quad Cities resident, Sarah's passion for consulting and advocacy comes alive when making meaningful connections with others. During her free time, Sarah enjoys surrounding herself with family, writing, and spreading body positivity. She currently resides in Moline with her wife, Becky, and three children.
Viminda Shafer, she/her
Viminda has always been an educator first. Her current role as TPQC's fundraising & community relations coordinator allows her to meet with folks and share the important work TPQC is doing in the Quad Cities. She spent several years working as a special education teacher for kids with emotional and behavioral disorders. Viminda is a passionate member of the LGBTQ+ community and resides in Matherville, IL, with her wife, Meghan, and daughter, Zoey.
Tyler Mitchell, he/him
Born and raised in Davenport, Tyler landed his dream job in 2019 when he was hired at TPQC's marketing & communications director. There are few things that he loves more than changing negative perceptions folks have about LGBTQ+ people. A member of the queer community himself, Tyler dreams of a Quad Cities that is open and welcoming to all.
